An older song that probably dates back to 1999 or 2000. Our setup back then was Yamaha R8 drum machine midi into the Korg Trinity sequencer. We would use the R8 and Trinity drum sounds, program them on the R8, then play everything back in the sequencer.
Boho Girl originally had vocals, but I wrote it in too high of a key for me to sing it well. I liked the music so I kept the vocal off.
The opening bit is a Moog into an analogue delay pedal on many repeats of feedback. The chord progression is played on acoustic guitar and JX3P with glockenspiel augmenting it in spots. In the middle of the song there is a guitar with a Digitech whammy pedal playing a de-tuned sounding version of the riff. I believe Kurtis played this, or I know he played it live when we did a few shows in NY.
